वेदोत्पत्तिः(ORIGIN OF AYURVEDA)
The word ayurveda is derived from the word वेद (veda) which is considered as the most renowned word in the whole universe. As the ayu, the life is being protected it is named as ayurvedam. The origin of ayurveda : ब्रह्मा प्रोवाच ततः प्रजापतिरधिजगे, तस्मादश्विनौ, अश्विनाभ्यामिन्द्रः, इन्द्रादहं, मया त्विह प्रदेयमर्थिभ्यः प्रजाहितहेतोः।।(सु.सू.1/28) brahma (the creator) Prajapathi (daksha prajapthi) ashwini kumara Indra(the king of devas) Dhanvathari when the world started its path towards resareches, Europeans where the first people to consider rigveda as the origin.
